Why does he want to bring money to the poor Jerusalem Church? Do we have a sense of superiority – a pre-catholic rome. Bring the tithe to the head church which is James.
Aren’t there poor people among the local communities that could just as much use the money.
Of course Paul wants Israel to be saved (Romans 9-11). He wants them to see and get what God is doing in and through his ministry. What is that exactly
It’s to show that the Gentiles are coming! That they are flocking to the temple as the Isaiah has declared in chapter 2.
